Plant Operations

The Monroe County Medical Center Plant Operations Department is responsible for the physical part of the hospital campus. By means of preventative and corrective maintenance, we maintain mechanical, electrical, biomedical, and telecommunications equipment.

We are also responsible for maintaining a safe, effective environment of care by means of inspection, maintenance, and repair of equipment and grounds.

We are responsible for safety inspections, life safety assessments, and staff awareness of emergency operational plans.
