The clinical laboratory provides a full range of diagnostic services including microbiology, serology, chemistry, blood bank, hematology, coagulation, and urinalysis. While most testing is performed on site by our technicians and technologists, some specialized testing is referred to outside laboratories.
 

The laboratory is made up of very qualified personnel to use our highly automated lab to perform tests on specimens from patients and to aid the physician in diagnosis, regulation, and monitoring of medical treatment. We also help with health fair offering screening tests. The laboratory hosts a blood drive four times each year. The techs are very gentle and do a great job of taking the fear out of needles!

MCMC's laboratory is accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organization (JCAHO). Periodic proficiency testing is monitored by outside agencies to verify the integrity of the services offered by the laboratory.

We provide testing services 24 hours per day, seven days per week. The department is overseen by Pathologist, R. Glenn Hall, M.D., who provides us with an array of pathological services.
