Watch for more details on MCMCs 30th Anniversary Celebration / Open House in September, 2010, along with an Open House for the new Digital Mammography unit, and the opening of the Monroe County Cancer Support Center, which will now be located at MCMC.

The Monroe County Health Department will be offering FREE classes for people with diabetes and their family members. Registration is required. This will be the fourth and final class.

Monroe County Diabetes/Support Group meetings will resume September 1st, 2010. Flyers will be mailed to the participants. If you have never attended these meetings call 487-9231 ext. 1191 or 1165 to be put on the mailing list.

The Monroe County Cancer Support Center is re-locating to the Monroe County Medical Center. Monroe County Cancer Survivors have a local place to come for educational materials, prosthesis, wigs, and turbans, which is all available free. Watch for the opening of the support center in its new location

Monroe County Medical Center will be celebrating its 30th Anniversary in Septermber, 2010. Watch for information about an Open House.
