As the sole provider of hospital services for Monroe County, we realize that you place great trust in our organization. For us at Monroe County Medical Center, this represents a great privilege. That is why we are committed to providing services that meet the needs of the community and to continue are mission to provide quality healthcare to those we serve.

As a not-for-profit organization, we provide millions of dollars of community benefit each year. Community benefit is providing services to patients with no insurance who meet the poverty guidelines, supplementing ambulance losses, providing free lab tests at health fairs, scholoarships to students and tuition assistance. As part of our 2010 Community Benefit Report, Monroe County Medical Center would like to let the community know some key figures relating to our hospital.

  • 6 room Emergency Department with 2 trauma rooms and Chest Pain Certification
  • Full range of Diagnostic Imaging (x-ray, CT, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, Digital Mammography)
  • Full range of outpatient services including Cardiopulmonary, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, and Laboratory Services.
